Summer Laundry is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

MULTI-CURRENCY PRICED TRANSACTION, if you are visiting SILKANDIVY.COM first time, we're setting default currency as your local currency, until you select another currency, all the prices will be converted to the chosen currency. The displayed prices and currency are for reference only, your card will be charged in USD (United States Dollars) currency and printed on the Transaction Receipt.

PURCHASES. SUMMER LAUNDRY accepts payment by Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards in USD for its products and services. All online purchases are also governed by the terms and conditions of respective merchant service providers. Please review respective merchant service provider’s user agreement and privacy policy before entering any transaction. Interpretation. These Terms of Use supersede all other written and oral communications or agreements with regard to the subject matters discussed in these Terms of Use. All refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment.

NOTIFICATIONS.SILKANDIVY.COM sends emails and sms notifications for order confirmation, order status updates, shipment updates automatically to the email address and phone number which has been entered during checkout.

ACCOUNT. Creating an account is optional during checkout. SILKANDIVY.COM allows visitors to place an order with/without creating an account. Visitor/customer must have a valid email address and phone number to receive message and notifications about order status updates.

The Information that we Collect, How we Collect it, and How we Use it

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect personal information you provide us such as your name, address, and email address. This information is shared with the entities fulfilling and shipping your order.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Data Storage

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data are stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data are stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Silk & Ivy does not store nor see any credit card information.

Security of Data

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
